Ahmed Metwally

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Ahmed Metwally has over 15 years of experience in system development and sales for large federal governments and Fortune 500 firms including Microsoft, GE, UTC and Sony Electronics. He is Chairman and CEO of ConnectmeTV, Timeline Interactive and XTEAMS Consulting Services Corp. Metwally serves as advisory board member for several start-ups in Canada and the US. He authored technical books, articles and papers, holds Technology Patents and is a frequent speaker in Enterprise Architecture and Technical conferences. In 2000, he was awarded a scholarship by Vengrowth Capital and Ontario Center of Research and Innovation for Executive entrepreneurship training as one of 40 high potential entrepreneurs in the province of Ontario in Canada. Metwally previously held several senior positions at Microsoft Inc and at ITWorx Inc. where he oversaw the technical delivery and sales of a major product that was later on acquired for $40M+. His experience and ventures span both the technological & entrepreneurial world for over 15 years.In 2010, Metwally was recognized by Endeavor Global, an international NGO, as a high impact entrepreneur who contributes to the social and economic growth of developing regions. He also received the top Forty Under 40 award by the Ottawa Business Journal..  

Youssef Adnan

Co-Founder and Vice President, Engineering

Youssef Adnan has over 12 years of experience in system development and deployment for large services and consulting companies. Youssef is ConnectmeTV's V.P, Engineering and the mastermind behind the development of new services and applications. He authored articles for technical magazines as young as 18 years old and co-authored the SuSE Linux Installation and Configuration handbook while he was still an undergraduate at the American University in Cairo. Before Youssef moved back from the states to Egypt, he spent four years consulting with ITWorx for a Fortune 500 firm in Hartford, CT. He then moved to a Technical Lead position with Collaborative Consulting in Atlanta, GA and later on to the headquarters in Boston, MA  

Fadi Jundi

Vice President, Business Development

Fadi Jundi has over 15 years of experience in overseeing green field IT projects, managing their operations, path to profitability and eventual strategic exit. He is also the CEO of iKonnect S.A.E. and serves as an advisory board member for several start-ups in Egypt. He holds multiple degrees in Chemistry, Economics and Nuclear & Quantum Physics from the American University of Cairo. Jundi has carried out extensive research on the impact of information & communication technologies on labor input in Egypt earning him a master’s degree in Economics.  Jundi has held several key positions managing dot com startups, content & e-commerce portals, and high speed internet access provisioning. In 2007 Jundi managed the acquisition of the WiFi local Hotspots in Egypt by Orascom Telecom. Jundi's education and experience provides him with the entrepreneurial fluidity needed to successfully manage emerging companies.   

Ahmad Gomaa

Chief Financial Officer

Ahmad Gomaa is a seasoned CFO, that freshly joined ConnectmeTV, has been working with SMEs in the technology sector since 1999.  Most recently, Mr. Gomaa was the CEO of Ideavelopers and a Principal at EFG Hermes. He has run five separate technology funds (with investment capital of $120), which has allowed him to manage and sit on the board of dozens of companies, and mentor dozens more in business development and capitalization.  Outside of work, Mr. Gomaa has been actively involved in the Arab Science and Technology Foundation’s Business Plan Competition. Mr. Gomaa has played an instrumental role in ConnectmeTV’s path to success through the Technology Development Fund and now, by assuming the role of its CFO.
